Day 1: To Murchison Falls National Park

Early morning at 07:00, we will pick you from the hotel or guesthouse of your choice and take you to Murchison Falls National Park. We will stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for tracking the Rhinos and also have lunch before continuing to the lodge in Masindi where we will arrive later in the afternoon. We will close the day with a cool drink and a fabulous view over the river Nile while enjoying the Africa night ambiance.

Driving time: ca 7,5 hours.

Day 2: In Murchison Falls National Park

Early morning after breakfast at 06:00, we will set off for a game drive where we will have the opportunity to see hyenas, lions, leopards, elephants, hippos, giraffes, antelopes, among other wild animals.
From the game drive we will head to the lodge for lunch. After lunch we will have a 3-hour impressive trip on the Nile to the Falls. Hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants, and a variety of birds will be seen. From the boat we will hike to the top of the falls which takes about 40 minutes. After that, we head back to the lodge.

Day 3: To Kibale National Park

Early in the morning at 07:30, we will leave for Kibale National Park. We will pass close to Lake Albert; on a clear day the view from the top of the Albert rift is spectacular. We will have lunch along the way, and after we continue with the journey to Kibale where we will reach later in the afternoon.

Driving time: ca 7 hours

Day 4: Chimpanzee walk.

At 08:00 we will start with the 4–5-hour chimpanzee tracking during which you may also get to see 10 other species of primates. Kibale National Park is also known for having a vast variety of butterflies and birds. In the afternoon we will walk through Bigodi Swamp (home to a community-based project).

Day 5: To Queen Elizabeth National Park

Early morning at 08:00, we will leave for Queen Elizabeth National Park. We will travel through Fort Portal and reach the lodge in the afternoon. We will check in at your accommodation and have lunch. In the late afternoon, we will go on a game drive where we will have the opportunity to see lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, antelopes, among other wild animals.

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Early morning after breakfast at 06:30 we will go for the game drive where we will have opportunity to see, lions, elephants, buffaloes, hyenas, antelopes, lots of birds, among others. From the game, drive we will head back to the lodge for lunch. After lunch we will go for a 3-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga channel where you will have the chance to see wildlife from the waterside.

Day 7: To Bwindi National Park

Early in the morning at 0730hrs, we will leave for Kisoro. We will travel via Kabale and continue through a beautiful landscape also defined as the “Switzerland of Africa”; mountains, lakes, hills with cultivated terraces, tropical rainforest and bamboo forest. We will have lunch and free time at the lodge before getting ready for the gorilla trekking the day after.

Day 8: Gorilla Trekking

At 07:30 we will be at the starting point of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for briefing as well as enjoying the cultural dances from the local community dance groups. At 08:30 we will start the trek in the forest. After reaching the gorillas, we will spend a maximum of one hour with them. All visitors are expected to be at the starting point by 07:00. The trek can take 3 to 9 hours depending on when we find the gorillas. It is a tough hike and being physically fit is recommended.

Day 9: To Lake Bunyonyi

Early in the morning at 08:00, we will head to Lake Bunyonyi where we will check in at the lodge. We will have lunch and afterwards we will go by boat to visit the Batwa pygmies. After, we will return to our lodge for relaxation and swimming.

Day 10: To Kampala or Entebbe

Early in the morning at 08:30, we will head back to Kampala or Entebbe. Along the way we will stop at the equator for lunch. There after continuing with the journey to Kampala or Entebbe.
